Hello there, I am Kakaire Steven, a Machine Learning and Software Engineer working at the intersection of Machine Learning and Software Engineering.

I am a candidate of Msc. Data Communication and Software Engineering, Makerere University specializing in Machine Learning for Software Engineering. I am advised by Prof. Benjamin Kanagwa and Dr. Rashidah Kasauli. I studied Bsc. Computer Engineering, Makerere University.

I’ve worked as a Machine Learning and Software Engineer at Makerere University since 2021 that is why I know something about scientific computing, software quality, security and architecture. I am currently and actively contributing to scikitlearn and numpy.

I am currently building Machine Learning tools that improve Software Engineering processes.

Away from work, I spend my free time contributing to open source or turning pages of awesome books. Checkout the books I’ve authored, read, am reading or will read.
